It needs to be longer than what you need. Then clamp one side with vise grips and slightly stretch it. When you stretch it, the diameter will shrink but it will go back to its original size shortly after. Wait a couple minutes after you slide it in. Then cut the excess.

Ok thanx. Another question: what should the timing be on 4092 1730 with seaking 180 setup?

I believe that I have been running 0 degrees of timing with the 4092.

Hi guys, how did you connect the seaking esc in the boat? With tie ribs or bolted somehow?

My sk180 is just double side adhesive Velcro off to the side of where the stock esc was mounted.

And that is an extra cap bank and BEC in the original esc location.

My Turnigy 180 is mounted with Velcro in the same spot as Shua's.

Ok guys. First test with 4092. Everthing worked. Stock prop.3,75 degrees timing. Top speed was poor but it looked like when the boat comes on speed it held back. Perhaps because of 25-50c gens ace packs? Not enough power? Better batteries are underway (turnigy 45-90c).

Also the boat leanes to the right? Also on medium speed.

Nothing can go wring with the Cables from esc to motor right?

                      Any thoughts?

What prop? I believe I run my GPS on the opposite side as the ESC for a little weight balance. That might help you. How are your trim tabs adjusted? Where are your batteries on the battery trays?

The originale prop. The boat leans to right so putting weight opposite the esc seems to make it worse? My esc is in the place where the stock esc is. Batteries are way back. Strut al little more to the wet side. Trim tabs little up.

Could batteries be the cause? Did you ever used 25c succesfully?

Is 0,7 cm distance between prop and strut to much?

.7 cm might be a little much but that probably isn't the problem. You want around 4mm gap between the strut and drive dog. The biggest problem is probably the prop. You need to go to a larger prop. It also sounds like you may have the boat running to wet because the strut is to low. Yes, I was wrong, my GPS is on the right side and would make your problem worse. My tabs are level to VERY SLIGHTLY down.

M0re testing today. Speed was up to 48 mph with 45c batteries, but not what it should be, other batteries go into lvc very fast (setting 3 amp), timing 0. Octura x450, a little Sanded but not balanced yet. Torque rol to left, a little compensated by lowering right trim tab, maybe putting esc more to left (like arrover) is better, mine is in original position. Boat flips from left to right side on speed. Other problem left turning is very poor.. Dont know why.

Maybe extra water pick-up at transom has bad influence?

Also the spray is way less as original. I would expected more spray because of the bigger prop?

More torque at accelaration but top speed poor. Boat seems running to wet.

So more testing to do... . Any thought/tips more than welcome!
