Wow that's a lot of amps. I did not have that problem running that same prop but I probably didn't stay in it for that long. What speed did you get out of it? I have been using Novak silver solder but I don't think there is any of it in my Voracity setup. I used some older Novak solder in it and unfortunately I don't know the specs on it. I haven't had a problem with the Turnigy battery connections.

Lol. Thanks I posted it in the Zelos section while talking about the Voracity since I had not gotten a response here. I was gonna post this here for others.

The bearing is indeed 16x5x5, ABEC5. Sorry for not answering sooner. I've been pretty busy.

That's ok, figure you had your hands full. Banzee helped me out. Any word back yet based on the email I sent you?

The info was forwarded to the manufacturer. As soon as I know something I will let you know.

If that doesn't work, I'm thinking it may be coming through the shaft. How much grease do u guys pack on that shaft any how? Most of it don't make it in anyway right?
So what exactly did you do to help seal up the boat?
Mine is letting in water from either the trim tab bolts, bolt holes, stuffing tube hole or all of them at once.
I put some plastidip on the inside of the hull around the stuffing tube and outside where the tube goes through the transom.
I haven't tested it yet but it should help unless it was leaking worse from the trim tabs/bolts.

Mine did the same... at a fairly brisk pace too. I removed all the hardware and put a small amount of liquid nail clear silicone glue on each bolt as I reinstalled everything. The ride is 100% water free now. Best, Steve

It has yet to been tested as the day I planned to do so, the servo was toast. Awaiting parts. However I tore down all the bolts and dipped those suckers in clear silicone. We will know for sure soon!

That should fix it... I've got zero water coming up the stuffing tube. Good luck.

What would cause it to come up the stuffing tube? N if so how can you fix it?

Not greased properly or misaligned where the tube enters the strut.

I might not have described it well enough but the water isn't coming UP the tube (where the flex cable rides) but around where the tube goes through the transom. Basically the whole drilled to run the stuffing tube through the transom was too large and that gap is letting water come in.
I'll try out what I did in the bathtub and hopefully it's fixed, if not then I'll take the bolts out and coat them like you microsalmo suggested.
Do you remember what size the nuts are for the trim tab bolts, I can't get my hand or tools in there to reach them? I've gotten close enough to guess it's a 4.5mm so if that's it then I need to get that size since I have a 4 & 5mm only.

I'm not entirely sure what size I used on the nuts. All i remember it being a pain to get them back on. I used a needle pliers to get the washer on and the socket to get the nut back on the bolt. I don't want to guess the size, I can only be sure when I get back to the boat when I get off work.
