Most wire is spec. at ohm per 1000 feet, so I would be shocked if someone could actually show proof of the loss or gains from wire. Unless it's simple the wrong size.

I can say while doing the many high power car audio systems through the years that less wire is better. Especially when running at low impedance (1ohm and below). Im pushing 138db in my Civic and can guarantee if my power/ground wire was twice the length that rating would drop significantly. Electrons only pass over the outside skin of wire strands. Silver tinned wire..?.. Go ahead and wire up a boat with a 2' coil of wire setting there and I guarantee the wire will get hotter and the system will as well. MORE RESISTANCE.. Ask the saw guys if they run long wires in their setups. Always turns into an argument while trying to keep it short and sweet. Done....Last edited by Erroneous; 09-21-2016, 07:27 PM.Comment

This again??... I can without a doubt hands down no questions asked guarantee the Revo packs smoke them. If you buy Maxamps you might as wel buy Vantage packs... Yeah I said it, Vantage packs, you know the ones at your local shop with no name on em. Might work great in a traxxas stampede but a boat pulling 100amps or more x2 will eat them alive. No pack to date EVER has dumped more than 70c on discharge without putting on a light show.Comment

You keep your money, be a big boy and buy a set of the new packs to try yourself. Or be a cheap ass and keep running what you've got because I could care less, LOL These are dual core packs, so each cell only has to push 75C to make the 150C. Either way, this is a childish thing to argue about for me because I could give two *!***!***!***!**s what someone else thinks or what C the stupid battery is pushing as long as it does what I want and they do. Try them yourself before you run your mouth! I've never ran the Super Badass Revo pack your talking about and maybe I will if these batteries fail on me, but then again, if they do then Maxamps replaces them. Feel free to keep going on about your super whatever to someone else that gives a *!***!***!***!**.
Typical maxxamps battery owner response. I'm sorry to give some truth to you but maxxamps is a cheap, grossly overrated cell, flashy wrapping and inflated price to cover the replacements. Why would he need to be a big boy and buy some maxxamps? They are known to be underperforming and over priced so that would just be ludicrous to waste that kind of money on something we all know doesn't perform as well as most other batteries.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Nice, do they use the same liner? I have one of these on my Spartin and had to use a small piece of cooling tube on each end of the tube to create a seal because I was getting some water leaking in. I was thinking of trying a liner with a smaller I.D.Comment

I am going to use the same liner. Hopefully water doesn't get into the hull. We will find out soonComment
