This guy (baller69) wanted me to post in public that we have a bet going. I bet him $100 that he won't hit 100mph with his zelos 48 on its own power. He bet me double. His $200 to my $100. He's been pming me and letting me know how much of an idiot I am, how I know nothing and I'm as "ignort" (I think he meant to spell it "ignorant", but what do I know?) as a primate. I had to end up blocking him, it was funny and entertaining at first how he thinks he knows what he's talking about but it got old quick. So, baller69, put up or shut up. Let's see how fast you can make your two zelos go. I'm glad your excited about your boats but you'll soon find out how difficult it is to get the kind speeds you can get with an Rc car.

I've been trying to keep it on track.

I got my motors but haven't had time to put them in yet. 3 day weekend so I'll try to get them done.

In defence of these hulls being flighty stock. Ive found (even with the blackjack v2-v3) that they are more predictable with more power and weight. All 3, blackjack/mg, zelos48 and 36 are very similar in geometry.... That being said, I dont see the drive system holding up above 60,000rpm (as it shouldnt have to).

Ya I'm sure you've been pretty busy with the house lately. You built some TP 4050's right?

Might hold up for one pass so he can break the world record

Baller69 I hate to say you probably won't last long here with your choice of words. Kfx is very knowledgeable and has built some great stuff. Can't we all get along?

The most knowledgeable people in the hobby are members of this forum. You can't just come in here claiming this and that, and say your going to set world records because you've made some r/c cars go fast. Just sayin

No kidding... I'm with you. It's nonsense like this that makes guys, like me, with a lot of real experience on this topic, and especially with Pro Boats in particular, to just stop posting.

Fun to watch, however. I was particularly amused by the "154 mph" part. That's funny.
