Still looking for time to get the Zelos ready. Crawler is ready nitro basher is ready HPI Vorza has been upgraded to TP4050/hobbywing150 and the Blackjackv3 is now Poseidon/Turnigy180 powered and ready...... Had a tough time dealing with TP to get two matching 4050s for the Zelos. Summer of madness 2017!!Comment

Yup she is, I can guarantee though that a strut pitch moved and I lost my drain plug. WTF!Proboat Voracity-E 36" , Proboat Zelos 36 Twin , Proboat Miss Geico 29" , Traxxas Spartan, Fightercat Daytona, ZondaComment

Keagan -the drain plug on my original hull was very loose, and could practically fall out on its own. The plug on the second hull is very snug. My guess is it's obviously the same part, but the hole in the hull is too big. Maybe pop out the rubber grommet and make the hole a little smaller with some epoxy.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment

Yes that might be a better option, was thinking about putting a small chain on it and epoxy it on and attach it to the rudder arms.Proboat Voracity-E 36" , Proboat Zelos 36 Twin , Proboat Miss Geico 29" , Traxxas Spartan, Fightercat Daytona, ZondaComment

Twist lock hatch
Has anyone replaced the threaded hatch locks on there Zelos to the twist lock kind (like the blackjack has)? I like these better looks like they will work but before I drill the holes bigger I was wondering if anyone has done itAttached FilesComment

I haven't seen a picture of them installed on a Zelos posted before. I was about to install a set last month, but the ones I had were not long enough to reach the cups. I bought a larger set and haven't gotten back around to it.Last edited by fweasel; 04-14-2017, 07:49 PM.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment

The threaded ones hold the hatch down nice and tight gives a good seal. Not sure it these spring loaded ones would hold down as well. My hatch doesn't fit into the hull very well it's slightly larger in some areas so I have push it down as I'm tightening the screwsComment
