Now I get the other motor yesterday and it has a different can with different endbells (no holes in cap) and a slightly lighter color. Im told "the contents are same". Would anyone on this forum run two different motors in a twin setup? Didnt think so. Id hoped to have this thing on the water already. Hope they make it right.........
Sorry to hear that man, I thought you already had the motors, or maybe the ones you had were the set that didn't match. Hopefully soon, I am sure you will leave me in the wake.

Got it. My fastest run with 447's was with 2 packs forward, and the boat was pretty light in the bow. I believe I was running at the stock setting of 3 or 4mm positive trim on the struts. You might want to look into an air dam placed at the front of the tunnel. It can be a crude as a fat pencil taped to the underside of the hull or as pretty as carbon tube. That should help the front end from lifting up so easily.

There's an airdam thread here somwewhere, check that out. I'm no expert on the subject, nor have I had to run one on my boat yet, so I can't comment on the appropriate sizes. From what I recall, none of them were very big, and they were installed near the bow, usually only a little bit recessed from the leading edge of the deck/tunnel.

Got my other motor on Friday before I left for vacation. Hopefully install them and clean up my original mess towards the end of next week.... There are a couple conversations on airdams in this thread, good luck. I do plan on playing with airdams this time around. Hoping for 95+. Also going to inlay some fiberglass and brace the transom mounts. Maddness continues!

I really hate doing inlays in pieces, but using Darin Jordan's method of tacking down the cloth with Super 77 spray adhesive makes it a lot cleaner and affords you more time to work everything into place with your fingers. I started today with the intention of just stiffening up the rear of the sponsons where the struts mount. Next thing I know, the entire afternoon is gone and the better part of the lower hull is covered. Ran out of foam paint brushes so I'll wet out the cloth tonight if the local hardware store is still open.

I bought this kit on eBay. Search the seller's other listings for a smaller roll for less money. Get yourself a can of 3M Super 77 spray adhesive, the narrowest masking tape you can find, sharp scissors, blank white paper, and a foam paint brush.

Ya they have been out for some time, some guys at my local indoor off-road track use them. I believe for boats it only works with the Seaking Pro controllers.

                                I have ordered 2 no leopard 4082 x2 motors,
What is the easiest way to change motors due to restricted access to the allen screw nearest the outside of the hull.
Has anyone put these motors in Zelos 36, if so how did it perform and what props were used, thanks
