We run the recommended aluminums--dont recall the number, but will post later.
For a shaft saver, just use an r/c wheel collar. hole in collar must be tight or will be a balance issue.

I'm not taking any chances of losing a shaft...

my guess is because you have more than one servo..
less amps going throught the bec side of the esc in a boat

                              some questions about my minicat

                              Hello everybody.
This is a copy of an email i sent to one of you a few days ago. He didn't answer so i taught maybe i could ask the forum if someone has some info for me..

                              ----

I just bought the minicat EP 820
i made a first run this morning with everything from the box and two 3s 2200 mha.
first i lost a shaft and the blade wich was with it because the screws where a little loose.
the good thing was that my colleague had also his boat so i could use his shaft to test my boat.
                              some questions appear.

is there a better system to connect the engines to the blades instead of those strange bending shafts?

there is quite a bit of water inside the boat after every run. even whit tape around the "canopy" where is that water coming from?

do you adjust a low voltage cutoff to the esc because it appears that one battery is always depleted before the other so the remaining voltage is quite low and i don't want to destroy my batteries.

apart from that this boat is impressive and very stable it's lovely

I would be very grateful if you could give me some advices i'm more an airplane and heli pilot than a boat "driver??"

                              thanks a lot in advance

                              Fred

                                next question
is the stock ESC certified tu use 4S cells ? cause apparently on mine its written 2s-3s
                                can you confirme you use 36mm tri-blades with 3s and 32mm tri-blades with 4s ?
                                muchos gracias :)
