I forgot to say!! I was Sssooooo nervous to let her run the geico!!!! She knows that it has a custom paintjob that is from Canada and a custom hatch that is from Malina!!! I think that is why she was pretty careful with it... She got it up to about 45 mph a couple times!!!

jason, that is so cool bro! lucky you! my wife asked to drive the losi mini 8ight a couple weeks ago, i let her have it but she went full throttle with it, made me nervous, so i kinda got mad, so she got made that i got mad and that was the end of it
my fault for being too over-protective of my rc's! who knows when she'll ask for it again. you kinda want them to try just so they can understand your fascination with the hobby, and so that you can buy more stuff. but on the other hand you trust your kids more than her because she can't drive for beans... women!

oh, and i forgot to mention, this guy was selling his mamba monster esc v3 brand new for $100. offered him $80 and he accepted. picking it up on tuesday here in town. planning on running that and the 2200kv in my slash 4x4. it is too much power but i'm planning on running a setup a lot of people are having success with. we'll see how it goes. i'll just take the motor out whenever i'm running the boat

I run a 1415 2400kv in my 2wd Slash Ed.Same rotor but smaller can.Stupid fast,I can't even get to full throttle with 4s.I need a front spoiler.It also blows over.Hehe

Alsume to hear that Jason,, i got my wife to go with me to video my boat once and she asked if i was done yet the hole time so never again for me,, Ed that should fly after you get it in there, mine is just stock electronics but is fun enough for now... I had to go to her dads for fathers day so i only got afew hours to work on my boat so in a hurry i went to paint pinstipes around the painted cf sides and pulled of the cf paint in areas, so to fix it i just painted over it the same color as the pinstripe NOT what i wanted owell..

i am suprised to see how many people in rc have a slash, probably one of the most successful rc cars ever made (i have one, you have one and i just learned shawn has a 2wd version too)

Yeah the slash is pritty tough but i also like the Erevo, had one and it was bad ass but needed boat money so i sold it like a dummy..

funny u mentioned that, it is on my list of things to buy. if i can get a hold of a used one, i can just slap in the MM setup. never driven one, what's it like compared to the slash?

well i had the 1/16 version and it would fly, if you put in a 3cell it would back flip from a stop position,,and with the wheels being so big and far outward gave it a great center of gravity, when i sold it the guy PM'ed me saying he got it in the afternoon, had already ran it about ten times and was waiting for his batts to charge backup to run it again!!! i was like whow!! I miss it...

I believe it, the merv is very popular. Losi Mini 8ight is pretty damn cool too. It's a 1/14th scale

Last year, I bought a brand new but fully built Xray M18T for cheap - it was suppose to be a b-day gift for my 8yo but he decided on something else. Its still in the box with an unpainted and uncut body, fully built chassis and 4 unmounted tires. I dunno if im gonna sell it or use it.

Well i had mentioned i screwed up my paint and had to cover the side cf paint with the green pinstripe i painted so take a look, maybe its not to bad!!! Ps somebody post some rc pics,, im feeling like the only rc guy here!!! Lets see what your working on!!
