The Ekos is on the back burner at the moment. Im taking a small break on building boats and running them instead. Im still trying to figure out what motors are going in which hulls.... Im really tempted with the 1512's in the twin genesis..... Could be lots of fun.... My time is also being used on my truck. Im putting a bigger supercharger on my Chevy!!!

Nope. It's a 4.3 liter V6 that is blown, intercooled, and alcohol injected. It's a fun daily driver!

              Shawn & Jason,
With the trend of going big and more folks are looking into gas boat hulls for FE - would a 36" Drag Cat be an ideal boat if just to try?
Im thinking that if folks would venture into it, a 36" might not require the typical Leo 56 size motors? Maybe they could also try a twin using smaller motors and a bit cheaper electronics?
The 36" Drag Cat is one of the smallest if not the smallest gas boat hull that I know. While its ideal for SAW using gas motors, maybe it would be a good candidate for circuit if used for FE?

why venture into 36" drag cat when you have a 37" komodo that is wide like a gasser hull?

Hahaha - I knew somebody would think it was for me. Not all that I post is about me or something that I would have a vested interest in. It was merely a topic for discussion seeing that a trend of using gas boats for FE use is growing. Besides, the Komodo is not something you will say that exists at this very moment - now would you? :)

BTW - I received an email from R2hobbies. It seems they are now selling receivers for Spektrum users so check it out. Im also eagerly awaiting for FlySky to make something compatible with Futaba as I wouldnt mind buying a $7 rx compared to a $60 rx.

Hey mac, have u seen the new flysky gt3c? Pretty nice looking and resolves several issues the gt3b had, namely trim limit of 30, unless u had the unofficial firmware applied applied. Which I did of course.

Isnt that a gas motor? Why didnt you list that when we were trading for FE stuff? hahahaha!
How much do you think it would cost to ship a V6 to Manila, eh? hehehe

You're going to need a bigger Drag Cat.
