probably using batteries for my Slash, Gens Ace 5000mAh 50C 2S (x2). are traxxas connectors a problem? should i put traxxas connectors on the SK-180?
using Onyx 235 charger. i also have a pair of Gens Ace 5000mAh 40C 3S. but the boys told me not to use it with the 1515
i also have a single Onyx 5000 mAh 20C (or 30C) 3S

The 3S will be to much for the motors KV. Trust me when I say you won't need 6S with that motor!!!! I have not used traxxas connectors. Just remember that boats pull ALOT more amps than cars/trucks!!! I would switch them over to 5.5 or 6mm bullets if I were you...

ok, do you mean on the esc? what size are the connectors on the 1515, they seem pretty big.

i am thinking of going traxxas connectors all around for battery, it would be more convenient for me.
i use deans connectors for my losi mini 8ight

Deans are to small and won't carry the current. If you use poor connectors you run the risk of melting the connectors then possibly shorting the wires out which can lead to damaged motors, esc, batts or even fire!
