        interesting! ace & true value are pretty much non-existant here. Home Depot & Lowes have taken over.

            Thats it! 20 pairs for less than $9.
            We also get our batteries from Leader so while you're there do sign up as they offer "one day promotions" which they send thru email. We get Winmax batteries from Leader and there is a topic here in OSE about Winmax. So far, they're doing well!

            We used to get our batteries from Hobby King - Turnigy Nanotechs, but we found the Nanotechs of Winmax sold by Leader Hobby to be slight stronger and a bit cheaper than the turnigys we get from HK.
            Leader Hobby is in Hong Kong just so you know.

                    I wonder how these compare to Gens Ace, which are pretty damn good batteries

                        I think batteries maybe a personal thing - there are many factors for a hobbyist to choose a specific brand over another.
                        For us in this side of the world (Asia), ordering from china or hongkong is a lot cheaper in both items and shipping costs, so we find what works and get it!
                        You can always get info here in OSE - there are many good threads about batteries!

                            so you're building this boat from the ground up? that's a lot of work! just buy a fc and be done with it. gas or electric?

                                Damn this thread moves fast!!!! i just spent like 15min reading to catch up,,,,,, Skyman just use the Mystic 29 rudder gear, i think sense its on the same hull as the MG it should bolt right on,, and i like them Slash parts sweet,, i just got some 17mm hex's to put on my new 1/8 scale truggy wheels for my slash4x4 i can post pics tonight if you wanna see.Also i use 5.5mm bullet connectors on all my stuff and so far ive never had a problem..PS i use a Weller soldering gun for all my stuff, its works well..
                                Seeing all these new Mg paint jobs with these new turbine hatches,,, Mac how much did you say these cost?????
