I would like to but can't figure out how to. I have no problem posting videos on youtube but there all I have to do is browse and find the video and open it... Here I have to type in a title and all I get is a link that doesn't even seem to be live. Please tell me how to go about this as I am an idiot when it comes to computers. Thank goodness I do fine with rc though.

I am using HK 30c-40c 5500mah 3s packs. I should be getting over 4700 rpm. and since I can't actually go full throttle non stop as I have to look out for ducks... but I am getting closer to 15-20 minutes run times. I guess using 6.5mm plugs along with an esc and motor that are not being over worked has a lot to do with is. I also am using a larger diameter tubing for mu cooling system. If you use larger tubung make sure to zip tie them or they will fly off under pressure. In a nutshell that's all I am doing. When I add an x645 prop I expect those run times to come down some.

Go find your video on YouTube you want to share. When you have that video playing copy the web address that's at the top. Will look like http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxx something like that. Copy that address. Come here click on the icon that looks like a film from a reel. You will see this icon above where you are writing your reply.
        Hope that helps.

Excuse me but maybe I missed something. I don't know if you are referring to my comments or someone else's but what advice are you referring to? None of my boats have exploded and no I don't have money to burn. I spent a total of $130.00 in upgrades for my setup. That doesn't seem extreem for a $340 boat. I did fry a 120 amp esc with this motor and learned my lesson. The 180 amp esc I'm using now has hardly broken a sweat with this setup and as for the motor the same holds true. If you're referring to the video you posted you may have a point there. Some like speed and to a point I am one of them but not at the cost of control.

Like I said I may have missed something in your conversation to others so please let me know if I did. I am also willing to take some constructive criticism. We all learn from our own mistakes or the advice we can take from others.

By the way I like your video.

She is looking smooth. Looks a lot more smooth than your last onboard vid. Cool little spot to run too!

Yeah I agree the last video of it onboard and a few before the boat was bouncing again. Worse with camera on. Took me a while to get it right again. Finally put the battery trays back in after i found the best spot for them. Also laid some glass over for strength.

Almost done making a new rescue rig float that has a camera mount on it for future use.

Maxmeeker. It's a castle 1518, t180, 2 nano tech 45c 3s, I also run 5s as the first run of the day, upgraded flex cable, p225 sometimes x642, offset rudder, trimmed back of strut hang off, blueprinted sponsons, 2nd water pickup feeding esc, eagle tree data logging, 2 temps, rpms, amperage, voltage, watts, gps speed,
The strut is set level with bottom of ride pads and level angle. I used a thick piece of plexiglass as my setup table to make sure the strut was equal with sponsons.

Nice, what kv is that motor since you mention running 3s (ore should I read that as 6s ?)and 5s ?
I had a quick look at the castle web page and the 1518 1800 kv said No longer available.

Any how, nice spot, nice boat, and you seems like a nice guy. :-)

I will try to get 2 pack's tomorrow to se how the boat runs after i was fidling with the bottom. Was to run to today, but started with the 1/16 merv, and time flew.

                            1518 1800kv motor. 6S & 5S between x642 and P225 props.
I found someone who had a few of those motors new a while back and picked one up.

                              she running nice n flat!!!!

for some reason i cant keep the nose of mine down i have tried moving the strut angle but it seems to be best at level with the sponsons . im going to try a differant prop the x442 maybe the cause of the nose sitting up.
which prop were you using in the video you just uploaded?
