    I have a question.
What is the flex shaft measurement from the front face of the drive dog to the tip of the flex shaft?
    Also the total length?

The reason that I am asking is because I have got three pair's here from one of my boats that I am going to sell.

I want to know if they would fit this boat?

Ok I just figured out that this boat uses .187 Dia. cables.
      Mine are .150 Dia.

Does anyone know of any other twin hulls that use .150 dia cables??

Mini40Man, you boat looks unrecognizable, nice job! Good job on the mod too.

I think it's all a mater of choice. Most custom builds use under hull pick ups which have been proven many times to work well and also provide a very scale look; personally I don't like the look of visible water lines which is why I designed the boat this way. My 93mph Zelos 36 runs 4 under hull pick ups with no issue, but maybe at that speed water doesn't have a choice but to move up the pick ups, lol.

I've not been made aware of anyone calling in to report having lost electronics due to lack of cooling, but I'm glad there is an option out there for those of you who feel the stock cooling is insufficient.

Cooling modifications aside, there's still room for an upgraded rudder. The stock one is too soft, IMO, and bends/nicks easily.

Well if the rudder was too strong then you'd incur damage to the hull......id rather buy a $20 rudder blade than another hull. But hey, if you don't hit anything then you shouldn't have much problems :)

And this is from normal use; crashes not being normal use? Just keep in mind, either the rudder will give, or your transom will.

All good points. In comparing it to all of the other break away rudders on other Proboat models, this one is by far the softest and weakest. Yes, I crashed it. But I also blunted, bent the bottom leading corner just by setting the boat back into the stand after a run, and it hit rudder first on a retaining wall. Hardly abusive.

What are you talking about. We can run this Sunday 36 degrees with rain / snow mix perfect conditions lol

I don't think even your rescue boat would like those conditions. I'll be plenty warm in the workshop. Still not happy about it.

I must say, I have family in AZ and FL, and I'll gladly take the season's changing every time over a single climate. Nothing like carving through feet of powder on a long track mountain sled, and 4 months later out on the jet ski's or at the motocross track
