Lol, nose bouncing up and down. I'm using 6s Revos, I don't think trimming down is helping, maybe I need to go back to 4 packs to get the weight up front.

I ran 70mph on 2 3S revo packs installed all the way forward, 447 props, struts at 4mm. When I got the boat back together and ran it again on the ABC 1814 props with 4 3S packs (mounted to the stock trays), it was very floaty and was bouncing too. That setup only ran 65mph because I could barely keep the throttle pinned. To be expected as I changed just about everything but the trim angle, and had no time to tune further.

Will try that the next outing. The Revos sure do have some kick to it. I'll continue playing with it. I took the Daytona out as well so I shared my time between those two.

I think it's all a mater of choice. Most custom builds use under hull pick ups which have been proven many times to work well and also provide a very scale look; personally I don't like the look of visible water lines which is why I designed the boat this way. My 93mph Zelos 36 runs 4 under hull pick ups with no issue, but maybe at that speed water doesn't have a choice but to move up the pick ups, lol.

I've not been made aware of anyone calling in to report having lost electronics due to lack of cooling, but I'm glad there is an option out there for those of you who feel the stock cooling is insufficient.
Rafael, you designed a terrific boat hands down! However while zooming into pic's of me coming out of turns and straightening out I noticed that the port side pickup is not in the water, and may not be in the water through the entire turn?? I have not burned anything up while running suggested voltage so it is not a problem for the boat, but I like consent water flow. I'm going to try a rudder pick up. At full throttle around turns, the boat tends to "slide" so maybe a little longer rudder will help as well for my type of driving..ie..full throttle... lol.

              heres a pic of what I mean.riding props.jpg

i'm sure that props are too large for summer running...
for this winter i hope they will be ok!
if the props are good in quality i will purchase a medium size for the summer... 43, 44 or 45mm

Those props are going to need some sharpening, but I'm not sure what one sharpens velvet with.

one question about the prop nyloc nut size: is it a normal M5 or is it a 3/16 10-24 nut?
