Never had luck splitters. When I built my cat last year I used a single rudder pickup to a nice CNC Y fitting. It would spit water out one outlet easily, and barely trickle out the other, didn't matter how it was hooked up. I threw that fitting away after its maiden run Lol worked like garbage.

I know everyone here is trying to "Hit" 70, or 80, or whatever... I'm more interested in KEEPING it there... :) Oh, and turning at those speeds...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Thanks.
I think a lot of people forget that a lot of lift is generated from the TOP surface. Breaking up the air their can really help keep the nose down.
If you watch the video of mine working over the 1/6th mile oval last March, you'll see why I'm doing this! And that's with a TON of angle in the struts, and rather "mild" props... Need to be able to lay-down full-throttle without blowing the nose off.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

No offence to anyone: but I thought this was a thread to the Zelos Twin RTR.. started out great with tweaking the RTR, but turned into, replace motors, esc's, and such. ??Zelos 36 stock 68 mphComment

I suppose swapping motors, esc's props and all that is classified under that tree?Proboat Voracity-E 36" , Proboat Zelos 36 Twin , Proboat Miss Geico 29" , Traxxas Spartan, Fightercat Daytona, ZondaComment

Ya it is called the "official modding thread" seems pretty clear to me that there will be post's about upgrading the boat Lol. Im sure people purchased the zelos knowing they would upgrade power system. Id buy a bare hull instantly to build if they offered white, the yellow doesnt do it for meComment

I agree. It's turned into something that I didn't want it to. What i created it for was;
-props. What props are working best for you.
-motors. You swapped motors, we want to know what you went with and how it faired.
-escs. You swapped escs, let's hear how they fit, they run cooler, you picked up speed...whatever
-mods. Cooling system. Rudder. Aerodynamic. You name it. If it's a modification that makes you boat better in some way...lets see/hear it.
-aesthetics. Cleaning up the interior, hose routing, decals, paint jobs. Let's see it.
What I don't want is problems with your boat. Warranty issues., whining...whatever. It's cluttering the thread for no reason. This because a hassle for other people that didn't start from the beginning and they have to sift through the bs. This isn't a complain thread or discuss problems thread. It's a MODDING thread created to help people get their boat to perform better or increase reliability.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment
