Did not see anyone answer you Chris on the strut/out drive adjustment. looking boat right side up, tilt drives down to lower bow, and lift stern, BUT.. your using thrust to lift stern so less forward thrust. The more level props the more they push forward, and not upward.

Canadian tire is where I bought the paint.
Thanks for the reply on the struts, helpful advice. :)

I am trying to keep drives level for speed but it wants to blow over, and adding weight to front, only slows it down. Been reading post's and I like the batteries post of them being on the side, they go in 1/2 inch more forward, and if running 4 batteries you can do side by side instead of down the middle. also gives you room to relocate ESC'S forward changing the CG 1/4 inch forward with out batteries weighed. Also relocating ESC's gives you a straighter cooling route. Just a idea I'm trying :)

                Receiver box upgrade

If you wanna replace that sad stock zelos twin transmitter/receiver (no offence) you can use this traxxas rustler receiver box (part# TRA3628) to waterproof your electronics. Use the existing screw hole and a piece of servo tape on the opposite side and it's pretty sturdy. All the wires reach perfect including the receiver antenna (using futaba/4PLS) it works great!

Do you have it bolted down by one Allen screw? It's the same box in the Spartan. Love that little box. Antenna passes through the top without issue.

Ya, just one bolt and a piece of servo tape sandwiched between so it won't twist. It's rock solid, had flips without it moving. In all honestly the servo tape alone would hold it fine, that stuff is great.

Nice! Why did you upgrade servo if you don't mind me asking?

                        Hey 36ers.

Noted Darin's air dams back a little. Has anyone tried that and noticed results? Just trying to calm the 48's bounce and tendency to lift at speed as well. Had thought about air dams or airflow spoilers top and bottom as well. Thought I'd just ask you guys. If you think plane wings..... then I agree with Darin about placing them on top.

They have been good to me. Been using them for about a year in my boats and cars . No swelling and all cells stay balanced

Ive tried the spoiler on the top. Made a little difference but not enough to justify looking tacky. Imo. I will be trying out the dam underneath. Every time Ive gone titsup it seems like it was from pressure under the boat not lack of on top.
