Just an update on the Revolectrix packs. I have 4 old packs with maybe 35-40 hard runs on them. All IR ratings on cells are 1.7-2.1. I couldnt read these with my old ultra power up120. Got the power lab8 and confirmed these packs kick ^€$. Just got 4 more. Summer fun.

I will give those packs a try after I give the SMC's a try. Sounds like they are up for the task!

image.jpgimage.jpg Both ESCs are ran the same way. It truly is 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag.

I hit 62.5 MPH Today but took out a hd lipo dropped cell #3 down to 2.12 volts in less than 3 mins. Time to upgrade my Lipos!!

Are you running 2 3s packs or 4 packs?

Hey, I'm new on this forum but read this tread (and many others).
Two weeks ago i got this boat from my lhs and wow this thing is a blast!
Yesterday i ran it with new lipo's, two turnigy graphene 3s 6000. I've put my garmin in the boat and recorded 101 km/u or 63 mph. Everyting is stock. I didn't sharpened or balaced the props.
I ordered some octura x447's to see what this beast is up to.
Sorry for my bad english. (I'm from belgium)image.jpghttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DdOhGkg3CEU

just ran the Zelos today before the storm, with my new 11.1's and very sharpened blades and rudder. {opposed to last week run with semi sharpened blades and unsharpened rudder with 2x 7.4's} what a huge difference. With the "more" sharpened blades I had to start slow to get on plane, and once it did, the rudder control was more responsive. New 4 battery harness was suppose to be here yesterday so I can record speed and temps with each of the 4 voltage setups, will have to wait till next week.

pretty impressive for only running 6s1p for 3min powering 2 motors
yeah running packs all the way down will most likely puff them

So ran the beast on two different lakes yesterday. Didn't break any records due to chop but gathered crowds. My question is, if sales skyrocket here in Nor-Cal. What do I win? LOL..... I had people on boats, on foot and their dogs going nuts for this 80+ monster. And once again down in the valley no wind whatsoever. Get up into the hills on the good lakes and windy and choppy.

On another note, the Spectrum DX4S that I got is still giving me range issues. I switched back to old trusty and not one problem. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it. I've tried both receivers that the transmitter comes with reestablished binding, failsafe, programming yada yada multiple times. This makes a total of six failsafes at 500 feet or less. Im fairly confident in my ability to reed the engrish language and set up an RX.
