I ran 2 6s 3300mah 45c nano techs in Parallel and got a cool 65mph! :) had a tumble and broke the pins on my GPS strap. Also broke the right motor mount loose and the flex shaft and liner are toast from running it back to shore with the cocked motor.

Thanks Keagan! Now the question is do you guys think I can pull the cooked Teflon liner in the stuffing tube and run the flex bare??

I don't think that's wise but what do I Know. Metal to metal can't be good.

I dont run liners in any of my stuffing tubes, I cant speak for this boat though. The cable will
probably have to much slack without the liners i could be wrong though what size brass tubing are the drive tubes 9/32?

Hit the 60's today running 2 3s and X447's with 1mm outdrive adjustment. cant run full throttle, wants to lift too much.

If you put something in the tunnel to disrupt this some then it won't have as much lift. Cutting some of that out doesn't seem to slow the boat down but yet makes it faster and more stable at higher speeds. What speed would that be? That depends on the hull. I'll tell you this also, I picked up a solid 2mph on two different (well same hull design but different sizes) boats. Both boats were running exactly 98 mph and never went any faster than 98. Both boats went 99.9 and one broke 100 on the second pass.
only hit low 60,s and not full throttle before it wanted to lift {I was running with the wind} I,m Def trying it out for next sundays run. Looks like you just taped it on?

I don't run Liners in any of my other boats either, but these Stuffing Tubes do look wider than the 1/4" Stuffing tubes on my other boats. will measure in a bit to confirm.

Im running in Florida waters {around 85 degree water temp}, my esc,s and motors were in the 120 degrees range after running 6 hard passes, is that about normal?

That is great for almost 90 deg water temps!! :) your safe up till about 130-140 as I've ran this hot in other 6s boat setups and never had an issue except for melting bullet connectors off. The Zelos stays much cooler than my other boats you will be fine.

Where are your batteries located and what is your strut level at? I hit 70s with my 447 with no lift at all.

Has anyone experimented or thought about doing outboards on the Z? I just think they look so cool. Something like this?

Thanks Chevy, I thought that was good, but being new to electric wanted to check. Hate to over do it!

Batteries full forward, and 1mm down struts. Sharpened and smoothed rudder tho, maybe lessened the drag in back?

How in the world are you guys getting to those speeds with the X447, I can barely make it out the 50s. Im beginning to think after my wreck that maybe the struts got moved.
