Not running SMC's because I only got one. The replacement just arrived in Miami today. Will be next week when it arrives here. Quick stupid question. Octura 447R, goes on the right hand side correct?

Yeah it's a beautiful place, especially for fishing. A guy caught a 8ft gator yesterday at that very spot I run my boat. Just difficult to get a good spot to run.

R prop should go on left side. Tops of props turning in towards each other. And Crocs? No bueno. Not swimming after your boat!

Whew! Thought I mounted it wrong the first time. Yeah crocs and manatee. Some 10 year old kids live on the river bank and they swim in there all the time. As for me? No sir! I rather buy a new Zelos than jump in for it .

Haha. Actually they volunteered but I couldn't live with myself if something happened to them while retreving my boat.

has anyone had to adjust the strut angle? or are these high speeds stock angle? also im changing to x447's does that make a ride difference. just want to know before I play with struts.

Yes. Depends on prop. Water conditions. Battery placement. Etc

riding high in nose with stock and 6s, pushed it and flipped. Should I wait for new 447's before I adjust? And btw thanks for reminding me of the dullness trick for riding surface, I forgot that one

Talk about luck not being on my side. Drove my usual 10 miles to river. Glossy finish on the water, props sharpened and balanced as much as I could get it. Test the Zelos before I leave home and one ESC would not come in, receiver got wet in balloon from previous run. Didn't think it would (my fault) Swap receiver with a new one I had on stand by, bind it and got it working. Got to the river and the little son of a gun don't work! Eventually the other ESC comes in and I lock her up and do a slow run right in front of me to make sure all is ok. Boat does not turn as should. Bring her back in and open her up. One ESC seems to be in LImp mode on freshly charged packs. Hmmm! Open her up again try another pack to make sure one wasn't accidentally dead, same scenario! Boat mustered 31mph max. I spent around 3-4 hours on the props these past days in hopes of a good run. Will tear her down now and throw a bucket of silicone on her to keep water out. Will keep you guys posted.

I think nice mentioned several times that you should epoxy coat the circuit boat of the receiver. I do all of mine.
