Lol, I guess it's not. We don't have to really confirm it's him. Could be Master Splinter.

The TiN coating is a no go The coating requires the parts to be heated to 800deg. and the solder will melt way before that. Plus they were concerned with contaminates that may be left in the wires.

My temps were lower when I ran the boat yesterday. I don't know if it was the routing of the lines or the cleaning out the paint and porting the pickup tubes, but it all is working great. That's with longer runs with the 9000mah batteries too.

My guess on why the water lines were not ran that way from the factory is that it might be confusing to someone and they could hook it up the wrong way. I know it sounds nuts, but some people are morons.

Took the boat out for a quick run before it got dark and after maybe a minute, one of the props quit spinning. Broke a drive cable!

Kev, how did that broken shaft/prop not end up in the lake?

I have no idea when he OSE upgrade cables are going to be back in stock and have plans to run my boat with a friend this weekend at his marina. I really don't want to buy another Proboat cable because I have seen so many fail, but Kintec Racing carries upgraded cables and was wondering if anyone has run their cables? Doesn't have to be in a Zelos, just any boat. I just want to know if they are any good? Looks like they would for sure be an upgrade over the stock ones at least.

I got lucky because it snapped just as I punched it and let off immediately. Big time lucky! Would have ended up at the bottom of the Whitewater River. I guess because I wasn't moving fast enough for the water to pull it off? There was grease all over the shaft and I had just greased the shaft one run before this one that broke it.

It didn't snap any cables, just came off at the braze joint or whatever Proboat does to attach them. I'll get a pic of the cable
