Rafael, are you supporting the rear of the Voracity motors somehow or just using the stock Zelos mounts alone?

Oh No not this again,, it's all about the transom lift or lack or it that raises the bow

Regarding my SAW boat in the video Keagan posted, that was the very first run with that Voracity 36 motors and Zelos 48 ESCs. It was on 8s, 2p. Boat ran very wet. I never tuned it, I just half assed guessed where to place everything and went for it; I built the boat the previous day. I haven't run it since that day, I am waiting of components to come in to try and get more speed. This was just a test to see how stable the hull is with more speed. I really feel the hull can handle 100, no problem. Lipos are not HV, they are 5700mAh 14.8v samples I get for free; true 35C rated packs with a 50C burst. When you have quality packs, you don't need "100C" packs. Each side has an extra water pick up. Electronics were at 110 after that video. I'm running ABC 1816/3 .50 bar that I've tweaked a little. I didn't run the 447 props but I believe with some hull tuning and these props, I can get closer to 90.

The goal for the NAMBA event in a few weeks is 100. The Q record is close to 130, which I know I wont get to unless I spend $1K on electronics, which I am not willing to do. I'm just doing it for fun, with samples that I get for free to prove the hull can be competitive

awesome runs congrats.i have about 4k into my 36 zelos winter is coming so more likly will be spring before runs are done but totalled it up and just over 4200 in the 36 and about the same in my 48 so wish me luck and thanks again guys and talk to you later!

Guy its been 6 weeks since you said you'd have this boat built, and all you've had to show us is a hydro dipped hull and a couple motors?? C'mon man...

I didn't like the way this boat handles running the outward. I see what you guys are saying here in theory, but it hasn't worked that way for me. Prop wise, the only way to get lift, either transom or bow, is with prop rake. Other than that, you either use your struts or batteries to adjust ride attitude. I'm not saying you may not experience different, but this is what I have found works on this boat.
Way to go Rafael! It's always great to hear how your progress is running on hitting 100mph. Hope to see and meet you at the Namba event next week and good luck!!

Thanks everyone. I don't get to run as much as I would like. I've been very busy lately. I don't even think I'll get to test my new boat before the event. I'll more than likely build it the week of and show up and see what it does.

I'm not supporting my 40mm motors, but I'm not to worried about the mounts ripping off if I wipe out. I have yet to have an issue with anything coming loose off my hull and I have had some serious wipe outs with this hull. Its one I pulled from the first lot we got in and I've not treated it well at all. I'd probably be more worried if I'd paid for my boats, but if I break one I'll just chock it up to durability testing .

daHammer, I look forward to meeting you at the event. Darin will be there as well. I'll only be there as long as I need to, maybe just Fri and Sat; maybe just Fri if I can get 100 on the first few runs. My wife already had something scheduled for the weekend so Sunday is definitely off the table.

Ran my new x447 props today and eeked out 68mph on stock electronics, hauling around half a hull full of water! I blew a cooling line between the pickup and ESC and proceeded to flood the hull from the inside. Lucky I didn't sink it. Brought it home and spent about 2 hours tearing everything down and drying it all out. Just finished the motors. Put it all back together tonight and try again tomorrow.

                            Yellow, Thank You, pm sent

FW, did the hose blow off with it being ziptied? Or was that added after the fact?

68mph sounds great, I'm gettting 60 on stock untouched props currently.
Love the way this boat runs!!

How many batts were in the boat, 2 or 4?

I zip tied the correct hose on one side, and the wrong one on the other. Guess which one blew off I was actually pretty happy with 68 because I never got a chance to do any long wide open runs.

I'm running two 3s 5000mAh packs for now because I only have four. I can see how the added weight of running four at a time will actually help things.
