The boat took a litte hop over a wake, didn't get off the throttle in time. This was the result. I may have to go through all that trouble to change it over to a .187.

It will hit the HIGH 40s in the straightaways the way it's setup. There is no need in pushing it any harder cause I can't keep it in the water.
At 50+ the Titan becomes a kite.

Here's some pics. I used 45 min epoxy. It seems to be holding well.

BTW getting the plastic back into the stuffing tube is a bitch! That tube just want to hang up everywhere. I had to grip it with pliers and force it in somewhat near the end. All is good. I checked it.

I built the packs already. I have the 9 cellers built, and waiting to be cycled. The remaining 6 cell pack is cycling right not on the triton 2. Which by the way is an EXCELLENT charger.

So as it stands, the quannum motor and 16 cells are gonna be the first run. If all is good, I am gonna move to 18 cells. The hong kong order is not gonna be here for a week ATLEAST. So I should have some time to see how this quannum works.

Ehhhh I sold my blast cat and some other things on ebay...Needed to pay some bills and the blast cat did it for me. Gasoline sucks anyway.....Messy...Stinky....BLAH!!! So I decided I had to get something back out of all the RC I sold. I went ahead and ordered a eagle tree V2 data recorder. I got the temp and RPM sensor's with it.

Well, Motors, Props, Batteries, Data loggers....Almost looks like I might be an RC addict huh!!!! Can't wait!!! It looks like a really cool tool..

I almost got the watts up meter....but this one looked so much better. The watts up meter kinda looks cheap......

You can pull that off with 12 good cells, direct drive and a x442.

wow thats fast! How strange you bent that flex like that being a .150. in the video my mono gps at 44.8 and on 4s it gps at 46 and I have a .130 flex in mine and the only time I broke one is when my stuffing tube broke loose from the hull. I have gotten it faster but are lakes are small and it gets hard to shut them down at those speeds. so I just leave it on a 442.

Dunno, I have seen them twist before right at the collet. (my buddys boat ,9XL on 12, 442)
We were running 1 mile heats so I may have lost the liner to heat, and the cable twisted during that process. The twist was just inside the tube. However, the noise came after the wake hop. The 1515 1Y is a torque monster.

I may look into building a automatic oiler just for grins.

Well, here it is, RTR. This what I got

                          FDM32" mono
                          Hex 120Amp ESC air cooled
Quannum 1000kv BL motor water cooled
                          18 matched GP3700 cells
                          X447 Prop

I slit some holes in the ESC shrink wrap to let air in. I installed the water fittings from a pack of fuel fittings. It was about all my LHS had that I could use for some decent looking water exits.

Thats gonna be my first run. I was thinking of using 16 cells for the first run, but naaaaaaaaa, I wanna go 18 :D

Here's some pics...I'm gonna run her tomorrow morning for the first time. I'll post back.

try putting a piece of fuel tubing between the drive dog and the strut.
