ok, scratch that, it is may not be big enough for the 150 cable. if it is close to the same size it can bind up when you run it, from heat.

If you apply a little heat the tube will come right out.:) You shouldn't need a tube bender.

Well, I'm saying to bend the new tube thats going in, I would need the bender.....

Anyway, can we get back to the motor please. The .130 worked OK with a 55MM prop, so I think it might be fine. Plus a .130 cable is only 10 dollars. So if I bust up a couple this summer....Money well spent.

          Thanks dudes!!!!

Someone from RCU that runs quite a bit of brushless stuff recomended a feiago 9xl. Said it's not a problem with no gear box and running the flex cable. Anyone object? and if so why?

I don't object - you can do anything you want to do. Don't listen to us - by all means listen to the experts over on RCU. They have all the answers for you.

LOL....Seriously. I was'nt trying to be a smart ass. I was just asking. Normaly taylor shaw does not give BS info in FE boats. All he mess' with are brushless motors. I was just asking what you fellas thaught of his opinion. I was'nt trying to offend anyone or act like you guys are jerk offs. Most of you seem very knowledgable.

Thanks for the info. I am going to split my order between offshore here, and unitedhobbies.com. They have the 9xl I want for much less, and I need some nic-nacks from them anyway.

Offshore has the mount, flex cable, collet and other things.

Thanks for the help again. I'll keep you guys updated on how this works out.

Yo fellas. I ordered a Feiago 9XL motor, and a Feiago water jacket. Some 4MM gold plugs too. Unitedhobbies had it all in stock.

From offshore, I am getting 2 .130 flex cables incase one breaks. the mount, collet, and a few other things.

I found a seller on ebay that has some brand new fusion 6 cell packs. GP3700 Matched cells. They are around 1.18-1.20's. Built and soldered with battery bars. I ordered four of them for a total of 24 cells for 90 bucks shipped!!!!

I plan to start runnning on 14 cells, and work my way up to 16 cells, and then to 18 cells. The extra pack I ordered is for a Touring car I run. I am gonna play with props and all that.

I am to geeked. I have EVERYTHING I need to get this boat moving. Thanks to all you for the info you gave me. I know I did not follow all of it, but I think I will fair out OK.

AND if all else fails. I always have the 1000KV Quannum BL motor to play with. If I find the 9xl does'nt do it....then 20 GP3700 cells and this 1000kv motor are going in....But thats a whole nother thread
