    King Of Shaves Saws Pass

Heres my king of shaves project making a pass.
I changed to bigger rotors and speeds went down but so did temps DRASTICLY.
I can totally prop up and advance timing..

Yup, I have learned. Funny thing is at the 2-lap event, both work flawlessy with the same motor, but older lipos. I updated to a set of 45C Hyperions and no luck.

      More testing is necessary.......

Changing to a 45C bat made the problem appear. This would increase the amps with a better voltage source. How many amps is it using? IMO, that does not sound like a feedback pulse problem. I would try removing the connectors between the motor and esc, then replace them with shorter larger wires and add caps to the source.

Something may be heating up, if it happens on the second run.

Not saying it was a user problem Jay and I agree it wasn't just a coincidence just trying to see what, if any, differences there were between what you guys were using and what we've been using, that's all.

No problem Chris, I was just making sure everyone knew how widespread the problem was as I'm also getting PMs about it. I'm not surprised that the problem isn't bad when running 2-lap events, the amp draw is a lot less than with SAW use. I tested the original pairing on a small local pond and it worked well - just not at full-draw on Legg Lake.
