No updates, besides the fact that I love the boat, the design, the handling. No bad characteristics that I can tell. Nice kit to build too.

I think 6s would be fine if you built it light. I think you would benefit from the longer length. It tracks nice.

Mine came in at nine pounds all up with 8s lipos in it. Keep it around seven pounds on 6s and you should have a great saw run rigger...

Please help. RSX380 outrigger with 4092 1390 kv 2218-10-50 abc prop on 6s can't figure out amps for speed controller. And would this be a good 6 lap setup? Thanks in advance. Oh I'm a rookie.

          What batteries are you running?
I race a sport hydro with a TP 4060 1350k, Panther Graphene 6s 6000 mah, ZTW 200 esc on a ABC 1915 17 45 prop., speeds in the 100+ kph. Different hull type but it's a ballpark. I think you should start smaller on props and work up.

Haven't even thought about battery brand. And I guess 6000mah. And I'm guessing that 2218 prop would be for saw run?

Im with Peter, a ztw 200 will work with that motor. But not that 2218 prop. If you want to push the system hard, Id run a Castle hydra

Id start with an octura 1450 and move up or down from there with testing.

Update on my RSX380. I've got it running in the nineties! I'm still learning, lol...

Specs on the boat- Motor Leopard 4092 1390kv, Esc ZTW 200 amp on 8s. I just bought a pair of 4s SMC lipos and this was on an ABC 1820-22-45 prop.

Remember, if it don't make your knees knock it's not with doing!

                          Here's the video...

Very nice speed! And yeah, things start to get a bit sketchy and scary once up near the triple digit mark. That's how you know you're doing it right!

The SMC lipos test out well. I have a set for one of my riggers, but have yet to test them.
Any idea on what difference just the SMC Lipos made?

My previous best was 82mph. With same basic setup it did 91mph yesterday. Today I moved the batteries all the way back and ran an ABC 1820-22-45 prop(was 1819-17-45) for the 93mph run.
