Both boats have the stuffing tubes glassed in. It doesn't look like much of anything, but it's solid as a rock. It took me a long time to realize this method. You don't need an epoxy blob, just thin cloth and good epoxy in the right spots.
I also started fitting things to check CG. It's probably going to end up somewhere around 1/2" from the back of the sponsons.Comment

Picked up this jewelers scale on ebay. It's accurate to 0.01g. Well worth the $17 (free shipping!). I just mixed a total of 1.5 grams of epoxy!!! If you have the west systems pumps, it's as easy as pumping a few drops of hardener in, then adding 5x the weight of resin.Attached FilesComment

Funny you mentioned that. This little squirt blew the doors off that bigger motor I had in it earlier in the year.... and with much less current draw. Go figure??!!
I noticed that the lap times for P Sport were pretty much in line with LSH last year at the Elks. Those days are over with these bigger boats that can handle speed!!!!Comment

I've been running teflon for years with very thin lube. If it's done right, it works awesome. It's very free spinning, forgiving, and less mess IMO. I know I'm not the majority, but as someone once told me.....'until somebody is blowin my doors off, I don't see a reason for change'.Comment
