Well there you have it! A little bit of praise, my head gets big, and I mount the transom bracket on UPSIDE DOWN!
I-d-I-o-T!!!
Oh well. Pressed some dowels in and filled the holes (that's how they do it on full size boats).
Larry - I know, I know!!! Just going to take me some time!!!

Pete, Round the scoop off a little and maybe make it a hair bigger.

Maybe it is just the pic but looks like the capsule could be a little taller maybe

I don't know guys. I tried a few different shapes. I also tried to increase the height of the capsule, but the model blew up!
This isn't a turbine cowl. It's meant to be a 2-5 liter style scoop. We will be able to use the UL-1 headers and mirrors on the sides.

Pete, IMO I like the middle one best! It's perfect, build it!

I just thought of something, maybe extend the scoop back and taper off more gradually instead of it dropping off so abrupt. But it would be fine the way it is, if you're getting tired of messing with it.

The original UL-1 windshield shape is going to be very hard to beat. Especially where it tapers and slants on sides.

Gonna go with 2 scoops, a horn, and some sprinkles.
D - is that some sort of hint?? I can do that slant thing.

Chris - not getting tired. I would be in an infinite continuous loop of 'messing with it' if there were no deadlines.
