I can't believe I haven't posted any decent video yet. A friend took a short video yesterday. It is uploading to youtube now.
I also built a new stand for it.
I'm looking to get a little extra out of this setup by switching the prop. Right now, I am running a 42mm 1.4 pitch cnc prop from Kintec. My motor and ESC run cool. The batteries are a little warm, but not alarming in any way. I was thinking about dropping back down to a 40mm prop, but with 1.8 pitch. That would take it from 58.8mm per revolution to 72mm. The one below is advertised as a no lift prop. Any advice?
I got to run with the new prop. The first session left me stranded after a blow over. Since then I got an inflatable boat for $25 and an oar for $12 from Walmart.
The second session was really rough so I couldn't get any useful assessment. It is a lot more sensitive to torque on throttle, but that could be the changed strut position. I also managed to brake the joint between my linkage rod and the ball link. I have a proper linkage in the mail.
