Mason, this would be a good purchase for you http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=oct-oc64pkg It would allow you to run the 1/8 shaft props.I still doubt you'll need more than a X435 prop.Oh man,I almost got #800.
Mason, you really need to consider the prop size....................no sense in spending all this time on your boat and then prop it wrong, dont know what size your Uncle's prop is, but its probably big. Anything over around 38mm dia will give that little boat huge torque roll and make it undrivable.............and it will flip...................and maybe flood........................and maybe............................etc
Ok... Bad news.... IT WORKS!!!!!! Yes... Its kinda fast.. ran good. Water ran through the lines good, only prob was steering was reversed.. easy fix.. hah im so glad!!! Wasnt super fast but perfect for me to start.. now i also noticed a lot of water in the hull after... Im guessing i shouldve taped the hatch down but ill do that next time... It was all good.. nothing got hot and water cooling worked great... Prop was good...
