Ok. Well ill try getting some epoxy and will try building the boxes. I was thinking about just velcroing the esc and stuff and just laying a long strip of velcro so i can adjust...

Updates. Ran/drilled the hole for water cooling. Looks good...
          That was good news...
          Now bad
I messed up the steering linkage hole and boot.
Heres what happened- so i drilled the hole. It was strait line when the rod was on the servo, but the rudder arm is shorter... The rod is now bending... What should i do? Also, when trying to fish the boot through, the big side of the boot broke off. Wow. Im now having a good day... But the water cooling looks good. Here are some pictures to see what ive done.

I also added the other 2 screws to hold the stand in

i will be epoxing the servo to the hull like this.

Mason,You could just elongate the hole and seal it and the boot with silicone later. What happened to Saturday AM start?Hehe Also the strut still looks like it is pointing down at the rear. You want that to be flat with the hull or it will push the nose of the boat into the water.

Practice was rained out so i got home early and started from what yall said earlier. Ill elongate that hole like you said? How far... Also i took my dremel and cut a notch where the strut is connected to it so it could move more. Now its straiter than an ox. Hah everything else seems good. My grandpa said he has some epoxy. I might go down there and see what happens. Hahah tomorrow tho...

Looks like the boot is on backwards, also the steering linkage i sent, the ball joint side is the end that goes to ur servo.the piece u have there now is for the rudder

I might have to make an extender for the rudder arm, i tried drilling though the wood before and i hit every screw on my way through... Would that be easier? What happens if the rod is curved?

Good, good. You just want the ability to pivot the strut a little to get the nose of the hull up or down.So it sounds like you got it. The hole for the steering rod, just enlarge it where the rod is tight and rubbing.

You can put bends in it to manipulate it to work

See to the bottom left of the picture, this is a bad bend.

If you look closely this is a good bend.

Can i bend the steering rod, outside of the boat? Like by the rudder?
