Ok. Well ill try getting some epoxy and will try building the boxes. I was thinking about just velcroing the esc and stuff and just laying a long strip of velcro so i can adjust...
First build... Cheap boat, lots of power

Updates. Ran/drilled the hole for water cooling. Looks good...
That was good news...
Now bad
I messed up the steering linkage hole and boot.
Heres what happened- so i drilled the hole. It was strait line when the rod was on the servo, but the rudder arm is shorter... The rod is now bending... What should i do? Also, when trying to fish the boot through, the big side of the boot broke off. Wow. Im now having a good day... But the water cooling looks good. Here are some pictures to see what ive done.
I also added the other 2 screws to hold the stand in
i will be epoxing the servo to the hull like this.

Mason,You could just elongate the hole and seal it and the boot with silicone later. What happened to Saturday AM start?Hehe Also the strut still looks like it is pointing down at the rear. You want that to be flat with the hull or it will push the nose of the boat into the water.Comment

I might have to make an extender for the rudder arm, i tried drilling though the wood before and i hit every screw on my way through... Would that be easier? What happens if the rod is curved? When speed isnt the option, change your waysComment
