I assume you mean with foam and not fill it with water. You can throw some removeable foam in for good measure. As long as there is enough that the boat won't drown if it flips.

Ok. Sounds good. I will try and get more foam. Will that help it float just sitting too?

          transom is smoothed
          filled some molding spots
          everything is smooth
          the plate is mounted

everything is good now. for filling i used pig puddy. works great.

with the new info on the rudder/strut- its 1/4 in shafts, comes with bushings, 110mm rudder

ok.. h2o 1, you arent being sarcastic are you?

              also, made a hatch clamps...

these came on the hatch stock
              up front
the other ones had clips that slid under the top of the hull, with the huge motor, i had to get rid of those. so i drilled holes, and glued a nut under the hole and i have the screw going through the top. works great.
              what ya'll think?

I just finished sanding the rest of the hull down. Took off most of the paint of with 60 grit then finished at 150 grit i think. Now its in the bath tube getting cleaned up. Bout to take it out and let it dry.. i will have pics up of the hull finished soon.

That is looking great Mason.Man you got alot done. You're going to want to go over that with 400 wet sand paper.Maybe even 600 before paint.Hate telling you that but then it will turn out good and you can be proud of it later. You should see how many times I went over my CF Twin. But it is worth it.Should be a funky cool little boat.
