Well going to the depot tomorrow to get sandpaper, paint colors. I have no idea what would be good on a boat...

Masonis1, the hull looks great!! I'm getting about as enthralled as Srislash cuz its fun upgrading toys and we get to help you from the ground up!

You still going with the 3656 2700kv? That would be great in this size hull and will make it go as fast as it can handle! Yee-haa!! You have an ESC yet? I'm thinking one 3s batt on the port side and the ESC, servo and reciever on the other. An x438 keeps popping into my head as a prop choice.

I have a 120a turnigy water cooled esc. I was thinking the same. I need some plastic sheets to make a deck for the esc, battery and servo. Last time i did that, i messed up bad so i will need help.

For the servo, i have a team associated servo. Kinda weak but turned ok last time... I have a 3s turnigy nano tech 45-90c battery. Is smaller... 1000mah but i can get another one..


Should i paint the inside of the hull as well?

Also, instead of foam... I used packaging air bags... They are big bags filled with air, and are light.. i have 2 in the front snuged in..

The motor runs strong and cant wait to see it go. It sounded like it was going to go really fast with my last setup... But it sucked air... Hah

I have a guy wanting 35 bucks for a used system of this. Comes with everything i need for a drive system in my boat he says. He is sending pics to my email. Ill try posting them here for you to see if i should get it.
