yeah it is cool. Dont you think he spent more than hanspeters 233? twin turbines? Alot of stuff to break. Im looking at 72 inch race v plans.http://www.john-tom.com/RCPowerBoats/RCPowerBoat.html. Im thinking twin brushed on a gearbox. Yeah you heard me right brushed so I can run can gear them to 1 shaft on a 1 to 1 ratio heres the prospective motor. It doesnt have to absolutely fly. If i can get a 72 inch to go 50mph im good.Im not going to pay 2 or 3 thousand in brushless motors and lipos.Thats a few house notes forget that.Attached FilesComment

I just got the coupler for 6mm shaft so i submerged an x 457 an ran 18 volts to the motor. Oh my god what torque. I ran it full submerged for 2 min. motor got luke warm. I definately think two of these on a gearbox will push tha 72 inch boat. One should push an eigth scale.Attached FilesLast edited by Xfactor; 03-31-2010, 10:46 PM.Comment
