So far I managed to get the rudder/servo,reciever,and speed control, installed. I also glued the rear hatch in place.I still have a few more things to do like: Make the wings,the mounts for the wings,and install a turnfin.After I make the mounts for the wings it will be time to seal , glass it all in then prime.

run it it will be totally different in the water under load. As long as the shaft is lined up well and free spinning just run it.

I guess you right the water itself kills the harmonics. The drive line is exceptionally smooth though . When I did it I chucked the coupler with a 1/8 rod with sandpaper glued to it to bore the stuffing tube hole through the floor; this assured alignment between the stuffing tube and the motor coupler. If you notice I have a lube boss on the stufing tube. I greased that wire then reinstalled it.

I appreciate the offer but I most likely am going to get one of these and shorten the blade as it is a little long. I never thought it wouldn't be strong enough brass and silver solder are great

The setup is a used blackjack motor and esc, motors 1500kv and esc is 45amp. I had to install new bearings in the motor and clean out the rust buildup when i got it,, the batts i used were two 6cell 7.2 4600 nimhs,, lipos would have been better,, may endup putting my like new UL-1 motor in it, it is 2030kv,, not sure yet...my pro boat Miss Elam has the same motor and esc as my Vegas hull and she ran 41mph on two 2s 7.4 5000lipos and the same 442 prop,,huumm
