Thanks and it was cents on the dollar. In the future if you need one for a cheap project hit me up. I can do struts too with lead teflon bearings.I make small jigs to hold the stock as I flow the solder.I Always clean the surface first with fine sandpaper then flux.As far as the wire drives I use the thru-set screw method.

Here's the cowling sprayed with expandable foam. I will let the foam cure ,over nite, then carve it and sand it to its final shape in the morning .I also attached a pic of the hardware mounted for refrence. Im waiting for my bellows. I also install a transom plate; made out of aluminum sheet.

The final shaping of the cowl is done. Ill just fill the pinholes with a mixture of epoxy and microballoons. The underside of the cowl has to have a recess hollowed out to fit over top of the motor. The deck hatch has to be made too. Ill be happy when the bellows get here so I can line up the steering servo, drill the hole in the transom,mount my transom plate and lastly
put the final rear deck piece in place.

Deck hatch rough draft done. I want the cowl and deck hatch to be all one piece. I need to warp the deck hatch to the right shape;attach the cowl to it, and glass it in. Notice the cutout for the motor . I plan to elongate the hole you never know I might put my 6xl in there.I also hollowed out the cowl to make room for the protruding motor can.I got to get the arc right on the hatch profile cause the nose of the cowl will just be sitting on the front of hull; it its not right there will be an unsightly gap. You know I cant have that.

Time to build some boats. Task include: Sealing the cowl,mounting the steering servo,work on the cockpit area,seal the deck(possibly).I started mocking up the exhaust stack too.
