I figured it's large enough for 2P. Did yours com with motor mount in? The rtr seem like the motor is way back more than I'd want.

yes the boat came with the motormount installed..i agree the motor mount seems to be farther back then I would have put it ....later I might remove it and start all over again

That's the typical problem with a Pickle-Fork design... On most of those I've had, weight had to be added to the sponson tips. On the Stealth 30, we poured epoxy mixed with lead shot.

We are building a scratch build Popeye for that reason, the factory COG is probably OK if your your running a small 3660 motor and small 4s packs, but start adding bigger motors and bigger packs, it need to way further forward this one is being set up for 6s Dinogy 5100 and a TP 4082 1450kv

couldn't set the cog running the 6s pack lengthways.
its set at one and half inches from the heel, ( thanks Paul)

just need to epoxy the carbon inlay in, order some hardware, to do a final check.

In the mean time, we would like to blue print the sponsons, or maybe add some ride pads, as the sponsons are a little bit out and rocky,
Any one help with blueprinting or adding ride pads? Sure it would make a big difference, but not sure what's the best way to deal with it.

btw found out last night why it chine walked and blew over for no apparent reason....the AQ turn fin brace has a wide hole in the bottom bolt hole for adjustment.... it was slipping badly super hard to get to the nuts that hold that brace inside the boat....so the slightest right rudder pulled the turn fin out almost a quarter inch but ill get it fixed and try again see what it will do

When I have slippage between two parts as described, I take some 80 grit paper and rough the two surfaces that contact each other. Do that and it won't slip anymore

Ron, would you be able to scuff up a piece of 1/4 inch aluninium flat stock and epoxy it in there? You could then drill and tap some screws from the outside.
I try and avoid paste eaters.

Or a center punch on one of the inside surfaces will do too.

Yes but will that not cause issues if you want to make a slight adjustment? I'm trying to visualize what you mean.

                          Pardon my ignorance here

                            Depressed

I'm so depressed, I just tracked my Popeye and it said "Failed Delivery" Returned to Sender. Not sure what happened but I'm sure it's gonna be a couple more weeks before I get it now
