Did you receive any notes from your local post office? That's full of it, they can't do that! I don't know how yours is, but mine went all the way to Singapore, I asked why, the answer is shipping directly from China would have been even more expensive! I am watching/tracking or should I say tracing it daily for fear that it will be returned to the sender as I have been warned .
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, man, it is no fun, hope to hear some good news from you tomorrow!

I called them today and they said it was returned to TFL for "No such address/Wrong address" My cell Ph# and Email was on the shipping label and I never received a call, Email, or anything! I'm so pissed at USPS I could choke the *!***!***!***!** out of someone!! Monica confirmed my address with me last night and it was correct so I don't know what the hell happened. I guess we'll see when she gets it back and they ship it back out.Comment

On EMS they have to make a delivery and if not deliverable, someone has to sign it. SOMEBODY at your local Post Office dropped the ball.Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

Sorry to hear that ,man. Can you trace who was the delivery man? I have this happened when the regular mail man was on vacation and the sub got everything wrong and delivered my paid check to a new neighbor who didn't know me, needless to say I got the check SIX months later.

, mine DID arrive but is damaged!!!!!! Local PO stamped "received as damaged", at first I thought was only the box, had to work, after I came home around midnight, I re-checked and on the starboard side there is an inch or two gel coat crack, I think the box was severely compressed, now I got to fix it before going to the pond, but I want to send pictures to TFL so they can be aware of the problem. Anytime an individual box goes halfway around the globe, there is a chance some s*** is going to happen. In the past I would have been so upset, but I have learned to accept the unavoidable, not saying that you should not be upset, I am just saying in my case I am too tired to get all worked up. I will post some pictures after I get in touch with TFL.
It does suck in a big way.
I am liking the quality of the boat, so just to clarify, this is not a complain against TFL.Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

Apparently San Francisco was the entry point for custom inspection, then it was handed to ''distribution centre" where it was stamped " Received in Damaged Condition". It is funny because Monica sent pictures to me prior to shipping and everything looked picture perfect, the motor mount had screws attached, etc. Well, two of them fell out including the set screws on the collet, here is want I am thinking, how much shaking/vibration does it take to back out those screws?! I sure am glad that I wasn't on that flight!!!
Hate to think what that does to the plane.

I have been busy so I want to apologize for yanking this wonderful thread a bit off topic last week.
When I sent the pictures to Monica , I got the most supportive reply back from her and TFL, first thing I need is to go to my local post office and obtain a damage claim form, things will start from there, will report back as how things are progressing.
I went ahead and glassed the side where the upper and lower joined, the gelcoat that is cracked was touched up with a layer of CA glue. So now 90% of the seam is doubled up with FG/WestSystem.
Next question I have is that for the AC UL-1 turnfin bracket to mount in such a way so the blade is ABSOLUTELY parallel with the center of the hull ( An IMAGINARY CENTER LINE as if the boat is running straight forward w/o any outside interference) , one has to either shim or bent the bracket, am I correct? The area/surface where the bracket would mount is not perpendicular to the "IMAGINARY CENTER LINE", the back of the sponson is slightly angled.
Those of you who have run the boat, what is your solution?Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

You are correct. I just bent the bracket so that it ran parallel to the centre line.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
