                        Hi Doby,

That does not look like an out of the box ESC, can you explain the modifications for those of us in far away lands with little exposure to such upgrades?

                          Check this out...

The capacitor bank I added looks a bit off as it survived a fire in another boat! It also has connectors to run a 2P setup.

So Robert and I were doing some testing on our new Popeyes today...

My P-Sport setup today was as follows:
                            Motor: Leopard 2000Kv
LiPos: Turnigy 4S, 5800mah (No paralleling of packs)
                            ESC Seaking 180
Prop:3 bladed X447 (I don't have a great variety of props to try for this setup yet)
Winds in the 15-20 Mph range (back straight=tailwind, front straight=headwind)

Best GPS speed of the day was 54.7Mph.
Temps on everything were in the 98-100 range.
Boat was pretty tame at that speed...again, no bad habits unless you over steer correcting left!

I have some vid, as does Robert that will be posted eventually.

Had an opportunity to run it against a FE 30 with basically a clone setup to mine. I had a bit more top end speed and both handled the chop well in the right hand part of the course. I did manage to bend my turn fin bracket and there are a few spins as a result on Roberts vid...I'll be strengthening it for sure.

Anyone know what P-sport speeds are deemed to be "competitive"???? Not to much info to be found anywhere...
