OK, Robert, good news! I just called UPS and Canada Ground would cost $88.96. So I can let you have this for $715. I can ship tomorrow and it will be there by next weekend.
Try to get him a price for shipping from the post office
UPS will cost him extra brokerage fee when it comes across the border
(I have gotten stuck with these fees)
Thanks for the tip, I will do that. Thing is, last time I sent a boat, a little smaller, USPS wouldn't even send this size - I will check back with them. Thank you for the info.
Jesse
How is that people like Tower can ship UL-1 to Canada for $40.00 bucks with tracking and there is no problem?
Did you try Post Office?
Cheers
Robert
I am new in boat's, new here at OSE and this is my first offer ever at swap shop.
I am giving you my money as a quick sale. Feels to me you do not like to sent this boat to Canada, for real. That is fine to me. My suggestion for the future is to make sure to mention NO CANADA SHIPPING in your post and people like me won't waste your time. Please understand that we have few people from Canada here and it would be just nice to mention that right on the spot. I am beeing fare letting you know what I think right now. I hope you are with me on this. So please, if you do not like to sent it let me know staraight up and life goes on for you and me.
Cheers
Robert
Robert, easy there, I was away from my computer to be with my wife. I would love to send you your boat and $700 will work. Don't misinterpret my not replying for anything other than being away from my computer and leaving it logged on.
My paypal is [email protected]. I have a morning meeting but can get your boat on its way in the afternoon. It will be in a HUGE box with lots of friendly packing. I go to bed now, but will be back by 6am MST to check on things.
Thank you and sorry I didn't get right back to you.
Jesse
If I find a way to ship it cheaper, I will give you the difference in a refund (i.e. if it is less than $70) I will refund you anything that is more than $630 + actual shipping. This way you can pay me and I ship it, then get back to you with tracking and some refund if it turns out cheaper.
I just know that when I sent a motor to Canada it cost me $25, but I will check around early tomorrow afternoon when I ship to see what is cheapest. Does this sound fair?
Use Fedex Ground. They go to Canada and they are reliable and cheap. USPS is outrageous if the box is over 1 cubic foot and I wouldn't let UPS touch anything. They're high priced and They could break an anvil!
