Wow Shawn, I love the looks of your new strut. I wonder if it will change the ride attitude of the boat? Please let un know the next time you run her! I think it will help prevent blowovers...slightly....We shal see.

I guess I would have to wait till I can fork a higher amp esc than the T180 before buying a 56 motor.

Here's the glass prototype of my 40" cig boat under hull. I also received the 3/16 strut and rudder for the 37" Cat - however, the rudder may be too big as it is the same rudder blade used in my gas boat. But as you can see it uses a short bracket from the transom.

That's the same rudder as on the Shocker. Moving right along with that cig eh,I like it so far.Let's see if I like it better than a PB Shockwave. Then you'll have a sale.

              Looking good,

My rudder is 4"1/2 to from bottom of the bracket to,
I was thinking on adding 1" to the bracket to make it longer off the transit on my 36" shockwave and see what happen with handling,
Also just saw this last night for my 5692 730kv, Make a wake gave me the link when I looking a the 55" cat video.
I may give it a try with more info. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...-seaking-130HV

It'll be lonely for the hull all the way to Canada ................. should I accompany it with a 37" Cat too? hahahaha!

I cant recall if it was Jerry or Jason who mentioned that a mono deep vee will benefit from a longer rudder bracket while a Cat should be shorter.
I tried to dry fit both the strut and rudder to the 37" Cat - the extended transom could only fit the strut, so I may position the rudder bracket to the secondary transom on the right side. Maybe a custom bracket maybe in order - still needs more planning.

Since Seaking has a new 130HV esc - would that mean Turnigy would have the same esc out soon?

The cat won't be a problem mounting a rudder with twin outrunners...

I don't know how you can do so many projects at once,I can't/won't.It's overwhelming.
12",that's alotta whoah power.I put 11" Pariseine rotors on the Camaro when I found out 10"s weren't enough to stop 4500 lbs from 150 +.

But wait Jason - didnt you stop gas boating awhile?
Stephen did tell me that he saw you selling a Zen in Jim's Dock awhile back.

Hey Mardon,I just knocked 1 1/4" off that rudder.I'm going to try it out later.I can't take it anymore, too many boats in the living room not to run.Even if it is threatening snow.
