Yup, regular gasoline with a small percentage of 2T motor oil - similar to the old 2-stroke motorcycles.
You guys are cheaper by $1.

The 3 more common rc powerplants - electric, nitro and gas. I use to run nitro engines when I was into rc planes some 20+ yrs ago, but this is my very first gas engine.

Ok, That 2T sounds good, The nitro is to rich for my money.
I have a brand new Dynamite .32 marine engine that came with my 36" shockwave, Just never tried it.
The only other gas boat I had was a Rio 51z, But I sent it back to Tower hobbies,
It looked like a scratch & dent when it came.
So I never got to run it.

Hey Shawn - have you ran your MG with the new turbine canopy yet? Do send us pics or vids if you do :)

Oh my apologies for the slow progress on the 37" Cat. Some of my boating friends have requested custom canopies for their speedmaster while our gas mentor ordered a whole speedmaster hull with the new custom canopy so the 37" cat had to be set aside.

I'll probably set aside some electronics for the 37" Cat than use them for my various crazy experiments and just blow them all up! hahaha! My HRC 1515 cooling jacket finally arrived last Friday, so will fit it to the motor and will try my best to set it aside either for the 37" Cat or maybe another 32-36" project down the road. If my bnew T180a esc survived this afternoon's disaster, then I will need to set that aside as well.

By the way, any suggestions for a prop size to start with in the 37" cat with having a 1400kv 45-49mm and up motor and T180a on 6s?

In our small boating group, we have electrics, nitro and gas users. I do agree with you on the nitro as a gallon of fuel with 15-20% nitro content costs $40-$50.

I am waiting for hatch locks from Fightercat for the MB and possibly a new beefier strut.
I would be starting with 45mm-47mm props with a motor that size.

That came out great Shawn! In-line setup?

Yeah, the hobby is a lot sweeter with having playmates.

It is definately better with a few out,if I can get a few more maybe we can do roundy rounds.

Nice grass video on the 1st one! The 3rd video is really great! The great looking driver is a plus! Hahaha!

Gas prices now have increased dramatically Lenny! It's about $5 Gallon effective today 6am Manila time.

It's a great looking boat Shawn! good job! Before usually there are at least 10-13 boaters that goes to the pond. One time I think there were 20+ of us running at one time. I think that was during our Christmas party at the old pond a few years back. It was crazy but a lot of fun! Now, there are about 7-10 that runs per session. 2 are always late! Bwahahaha! I wonder who they are!

The red cat is a Topgun II. That is my rough water cat. It handle 4-6 inch chop at 45mph with ease! It has a clutch also. I just ran it last week.
