WOW! with the water conditions that we have this past 3 weeks, I could use a cat like that! Hehehe! Fishing! How about a trade?

Hahaha. I thought we found out that shipping to you would be way to much? I am thinking about selling this hull. I would be selling the hull by itself. What are you thinking about trading?

Here are some pics of my latest project boat. It is a WHH Man O War that is 51 inches. I should be finished with it this weekend! I cant wait. It wont be to fast 40MPH +or-. But will look really cool!
I'd be tempted to build one of these larger hulls just for the scale leg. It's too bad the legs are so much $$ or I'd get one and down scale it.I have a buddy with a little CNC machine at home.
          Got the package yesterday Jason.

The 2 boating friends who I did the custom canopies for their speedmaster hulls liked what I did that our fellow gas mentor commissioned me to make him a whole new speedmaster boat sporting the new canopy. He wanted it painted in orange. This hull is getting quite popular in our small group - there are now 5 of us using speedmasters!
In the pics is also Tagasagwan's gas boat which we have done some fiberglass work on. Our gas mentor lives near me, so Stephen's gas boat gets shuttled between us. He does the setup, while we do any fiberglassing thats needed for the gas boat.

My crackerbox funboat is also underway and we just finished molding the top part. Hopefully by tom we can pull a fiberglass copy. Pics below is the under hull were Im planning the electronics & hardware location. Submerged prop & rudder setup.

Oh darn - I should've taken those orange boats and placed them on our koi pond before taking those pics ............. the koi pond is a mere few steps away from that pic.

Yeah! Old School! I wanna say I felt a bit of nostalgic and I was thinking of scribing the top deck to represent wood planks before it was molded - but got lazy again hahahaha! I just told myself that they must've had paint back then, right? hahahaha!
Back last year when I was starting out, I was excited to make some scale details - I'd scribe the cardboard or the actual kit pieces to represent wood planking ......... but nowadays, it seems Im more concerned with finishing/fixing some boats so I could have something to run every sunday!

The Academy Atlas 540 boat I molded this hull from had a submerged solid drive and submerged rudder - I retained that same setup with this cracker. The real cracker boats had a submerged drive, so I thought I'd keep it similar. Im sure it has its share of problems compared to a flex surface drive, but I still wanna make it somewhat similar to the real ole' cracker - even if my hull isnt an accurate cracker. Well, all in the name of fun, eh? :)

                      Anybody building mono/deep vee?
Im wondering if you guys heard of the 31.5" Arowana boat from R2Hobbies?

Its $63 for the hull (if you sign in) and it has a 43-page thread in RCGroups. I think it has been out for maybe 3yrs already and was wondering if any of you has info or feedback regarding the hull.

I almost bought one of those arwonana monos. I decided to buy chuds df33 instead. Looks pretty cool. I was just wondering how strong are they?

I re-read or rather skimmed thru the 43-page thread over at rcgroups and they're really not bad, most specially for $63. They've mod it and raced them as well - looks like its worth the $ on them. But of course like anything, it wouldnt hurt to reinforce it with some glass or cf. DFs are excellent boats as well - im sure you'll have a blast with yours!

I'm sure with your fiber glass work you can make anything work! I almost bought one. For $63 its can't be beat.
