    L = 1045mm (41")
    W = 245mm (9.75")
    $130 - painted

    FC Daytona
    L = 940mm (37")
    W = 235mm (9.25")
    $150 - bare white hull
    Darn, fooled by HK again! I was just referencing the specs thats listed for the HK Genesis - and they're not 41" like I mentioned above. They're 37" as listed by HOR and by Jerry's pics above. HK always list their specs to include the length of the rudder/hardware.....dang!

    So yeah, the HOR is in a different league at 32". Probably same league as skunkworks and ekos. Then, there's the cheaper Godspeed Cats by R2 hobbies which have a listed length of 36.5"

      Yeah, I thought about that.........for 30min hahahaha! Tell you what thou, I'll tackle that after my gasser - cool? Its just a matter of focusing on a project and jumping head first! hehehe
      I'll bet that once Im done with that you'll be asking for a MG gasser next? hahahahaha!

        Any thoughts on Aeromarine's Mean Machine or Sprint Cat hulls?

        .............but I digress, a 36" MG would be many times cooler!

            Sirslash, my personal opinoin is yes they are the same hull but without braking out a tapemeasure and checking it completly,, holding them up infront of my face for a close exam,, id say they are pritty identical..
            Macdon, if your after a big MG why not get the first one i posted, like i said Tequaman who no's his cats well said its just like a bigger MG other than the canopy!!

              Oh yeah, you did mention about the Delta Force Explorer Cat: http://www.rocketcityracing.com/Delt...ll_p_1584.html
              Nice hull - it does need a turbine canopy thou! hahahaha!

              Hmmm - no need to reinvent the wheel, eh? It would've been fun to create a cat with the help of your friends thru a forum - each could nitpick till all design considerations are integrated, then mold - then an actual sample that could be tested in water!

              Jason is also correct as I've read some testimonials on those who tried an aeromarine cat and it seems they are great runners! A good example is the Mean Machine if not a bit boxy/angular at the back. A revised canopy just like what ose sells maybe the ticket.

              Does Delta Force boats have a website? For some unknown reason, I cant seem to load aeromarine laminates since yesterday - bummer!

                Found it! http://www.deltaforce-hk.com/

                Cant seem to find the Cat thou. Maybe they do it exclusively for ose, perhaps?

                    I'm second in line for the 36" MG. hehehe! That would be a great project! Macdon and I actually started computing measurements of the proposed hull a couple of days ago. Anyone else wants a 36" MG with a turbine canopy? Let's make a survey just for kicks!

                      Making a poll why dont ya? hahahahaha!
                      Applying pressure I see, but that wont affect me - I work on dares! hahahahaha!

                      But Jerry said there's already a 36" cat that looks close to the MG thru the DF Explorer Cat - I still cant see an upside in doing a similar one. Of course, I welcome anyone who could prove otherwise but the fact that there is already a DF version doesnt really entices me to undertake the task.

                        I'm Making a poll so when more of our friends wants a 36" MG then more of us can apply pressure on you bud! Maybe I'm just looking for more people to help me increase the pressure! Hahaha! Well, yeah there maybe a 36" cat similar to the Mg already but, It doesn't come with a turbine canopy. Plus, all of you has a Mg or several MG so, you guys can brainstorm on what to improve, change, add or remove based from the original MG29. I said "you guys" coz I think I'm the only one here who doesn't have a MG. well, not yet! Hopefully my 1st would be the bigger version! How CooooL is that? Hahaha! I already have in mind what to put in it. I'll just wait if in fact there will be BIG BROTHER MG in the near future! hehehe!

                        A MG29 boat $340, A MG36 designed by a bunch of good friends, PRICELESS!

                          Regardless of what hull design, If given a choice, I would rather get a hull from somebody who I know personally makes them than from a mass producing factory in China (NOT that I have something against them! I'm also part Chinese). At least I know it was created with dedication and passion for the hobby! Just my 2 cents!
