Well guys I must say they don't make very obvious as to how to log in on the home page. That's why I tried loging in at the forum site. I guess they need someone to work on their site. Then again maybe it's just me.

You do?? Please tell me who! hehehehehe!

I actually thought setting up a gasser would be a bit easier than electric since its a big hull ......................... but im totally WRONG!!! My whole right arm hurt last night after just placing the hardware at the back of the transom.

For a complete gasser? Jeesh, too many factors to consider - how big the gas boat is, from what manufacturer, motor size, motor brands, commercial hardware or diy hardware, bnew parts or 2nds, etc. etc. The cheapest I heard for a 2nd hand almost RTR here in Manila sold for around $400. That came with a clone fiberglass hull, stock Zenoah, DIY hardware and no radio.
If you get a cat for your first gasser, atleast you dont have to buy turn fins and trim tabs - those things are a pain to install & even makes your boat heavier. But thats just my newbie opinion.

My apologies Jerry - seeing what I posted, I guess I would be confused as well hahahahaha ...........sorry about that.

I guess what I was meaning to ask - do both the Genesis & the Daytona basically run the same? Do they perform similarly on straights & curves? Of course, if they both have the same setup.
In short, if I would be planning on either buying the Genesis ($130) or the Daytona ($150), should I go for the Genesis since it is $20 cheaper and painted to booth? When it comes to shipping to Manila - the Genesis would also be cheaper since it will come from HongKong, while the Daytona will ship from fightercat, USA.

HOR Racing also has a 32" cat which I could acquire for less than $100 shipped to Manila. I dont know if this HOR cat is similar to Genesis or Daytona - but you can either check HOR racing's website or thru the pics below.

...........but then again, I could almost hear Tagasagwan telling me to just mold my MG and be done with it! hahahahaha!

Top of the mornin' to you Eric!

In page 1 of this thread, reply #16 - you'll see Scott (Tiqueman) mentioned fightercat racing - in which I visited but couldnt find any info if it was a store or just a support site for their customers. Nonetheless, I signed up. I cant recall if I got an email to confirm that I signed up or what, but everytime I visit fightercat - I have to log in my user name & password to open up to the same page but now with a window on the left side of the screen where you can see the wares that they are offering. Choose the specific wares you wanted & it opens to the page with pics & prices.

Thanks guys, i do love them,,,
Macdon im not completly sure if they preform the same seeing one is single and one is a dual setups but i would definitly say, i would think both run pritty close, and being the identical shape i gess they would have too i think.. the HOR 32 would probly perform better cuz i beleive it is wider and shorter, yeah i think you should mold a bigger MG, if anything just to try..

Hi Jerry,so those hulls are different then?I had gathered that they were the same through the reading that I have done.

I've been telling macdon to make a bigger MG like 20% more. He makes 1/6 scale WWII vehicles based from a static model that are only 5 inches long, I'm sure making a bigger MG based from a 29inches hull would be easier for him. Hehehe!
