Not sure if I'm gonna get the offshore hatch or get creative with CF.CF would look good with the yellow.

Wow I've caught up reading and following Skyman's build of his MG. I'm hoping to get my hull from phil's hobby shop in the next couple of weeks. I plan to re-enforce the hull first should I add fiberglass to the front to make it stronger? Then take the wood out and lay CF and lower the battery mounts in the back? should I use CF in front also or just re-enforce with fiberglass and use CF in back. What CF do y'all recommend along with resin? I've looked at the kintec racing is this a good place to buy?

WOW! That's a R42 Cat!!! Ive seen 2 of those run with gas engines and they stick to the water like magnets. Can't wait to see that one run in electric.

            Hi Wil!

I think Shawn and Mardon can guide best with the CF and rsins. They've worked a lot with those thing.

Guys, chime in please and help out a fellow boater. Good luck with the built mate!

Hi guys just got back from a day of running my BJ29 with castle 2200kv in it and on the second set of batteries I spun the flex out of the collet somehow.(Lost new OSE mystic flexshaft and B/S/P OSE m445 prop) I thought it was tight but I was using the stock Proboat collet from my mystic with an upgraded OSE mystic flexshaft. Not sure if it did not have enough grip and just let go or what happened collet still looked tight to me.

Anyways just placed another order for another mystic OSE cable and got an Octura short version collet to go with it this time.Hope that one holds better than the proboat one.But cannot find a balanced m445 prop in stock to replace the one I lost.
(I still have a x642 B/S/P and an grim 42x55 B/S/P not sure if either would run ok on this setup?????)

Does anyone know where I can get a balanced m445 or can anyone balance and sharpen it for me If I pay them for the work.
(BTW first run 52 mph on 2 2s 5300 35c gens ace batteries)
                Thanks,

                Brandon

m445 seems to be so hard to come by. ose had some m645 available but not sure if it is good for the mg29

Is your setup with a stock ESC? If so I think m645 would really be pushing it... my Miss Geico runs cool on x642, and I have heard folks running ok with m445-- I have that prop but have not tried it on the boat yet (got her tuned really well on x642 and a race is coming up-- don't want to mess with it!)

                        Hi,
I have been running a modded Mystic and a stock Mystic with a seaking 120a in it.
Modded boat likes the m445, But is a modded prop and look like a whales tail,
It is running good at 55.9 so far on 4s at 3/4 throttle.
Or it starts to fly and needs wings.
The stock one with 120a and stock prop did 41 mph, But I tryed a modded m446 on it and temp where good and got 47.1mph,
When I tried that prop on the modded boat it was trying to fly a lot.
I need to do some adjusting to run this props a full throttle,
And the temps where good on those tests.

I just posted some new video's of the modded one at 55.9 mph on parallel 4s packs.

So what motor and which GPS are you using Len?And umm, gonna have a hard time getting over 57mph with that hull.Really seems to be the point of flight in my experience.
