      Yeah! I spent the morning looking for a nice 1515 for Ed's upcoming Mg29 build. I found a Bnew cc1515 2200kv for $120.

I pushed Ed in getting a MG29 hull and Canopy over at Phil's. Then after he got one, Phil's increased the price from $152 to $170ish! hahaha!
i bought it at the right time, thanks to you. not only did the price go up to $175 it went out of stock too. either they don't carry a lot of these or there is a huge demand for them.
oh, and thanks for spending your morning looking for a motor for me, i appreciate it very much!

Plus we have a great little club called socal electrics, I have a mg slightly modded with a castle 1515 1y and a t-180 that flies. The one thing I advise to change asap is the hatch for a grp one the original one shatters to easy.
i'm in fresno i try to make it to the bay area about once a month.
so i should change the canopy to a better one? what does the grp acronym represent? any pics?
which motor mount are you using with the castle motor?

Those are made of fiberglass and cool looking too! Just like the real Geico racing cat! I know Mardon sent a extra turbine canopy to Jason in Ca. If you're interested then just coordinate with them.
i might be. is that the same one chiefy is referring to?
well, i haven't met jason yet. yoohoo, jason, where are you?

srislash, if you're trying to impress me it worked. what boat is that? and look at all that fiberglass/cf. man, that is beautiful!
are you using 2 ESCs? where's the second motor? i don't see it

Should I have bought the Turnigy 180A ESC instead of the HW Seaking 180A? I think they are the same product aren't they? I had free shipping and 5% off

Ed, The Turnigy 180 or some refer it to as T-180 is just a rebadged HW Seaking 180. It just the same. T-180's are the hobbyking version. I told you the MG29 will be out in the morning! Good thing you got one! hehehe!

Oh Yeah! we haven't heard from Jason for a while! Maybe he's busy building his new toy? He got his new ekos with twin 1512's. hehehe!

The FC is 37" and is another custom by myself.I kept it simple to retain the CF.I put a lot of clearcoat on that.I smoothed the seam so that the sides are flat.I run door seal around the inside of my canopies so water doesn't get in much. Here is my build thread http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...hawn-s-Shocker

And the turbine canopies are sealed so again,no water.

I'm just wondering? Will a t-600 work on a 32" cat? Hahahaha! I still have two Feigao 540 10XL's but you know! Twice the cost! when you count the esc's and drives. I have a T-600 and FC motor/esc mount coming in a week.
