3068kv on 6S for a boat is way too much. It might work in a land based vehicle buy not in a marine application. A 2200kv on 4S is a safe bet. I'm running a 1800kv on 6S and that's redline it to the danger zone a bit honestly. Prop choice is very key as well. I was trying a p225 but on 6S I feel my amp draw if the hammer is down too long will fry something. But I just make burst WOT passes to get a high speed recorded. I'm currently going to be going back to a x642 when I get another raw prop to work. My other got bent.

-
ok i see yes its a 2200kv motor and it will be fin with 2x 2s batteries and change your prop to a x442 octura these motors rev high so you dont need a big prop to make them quick get the x442 and you will be okComment

dont see the point in spending $300 on a esc when you can buy wat you had for $80 and it will be fine. you made a mistake on battery choice is the reason you poped your caps on the esc lolComment
