If I had one it would probably get TP 4050 motors and T-180 ESC's

Ok finally made it out after the hurricane! Whew! Still can't run in the river at the moment because its a mess. I went to a decent size lake, slap on the GoPro on the Z. Upon reviewing the footage you can clearly hear one of the motors/shaft (assuming right) rubbing in the tube. I had already found out the brass tube had some play in the motor mount and epoxied it. Still releases smoke but now I can hear why it may be smoking out, if that makes sense. I will try and upload a short clip of the video. Is there anyway to straighten the tube while still in the boat? Standby for footage.

This is why I was going to make carbon fiber motor mounts. The motor would never move again. No one showed any interest so I'll just be making a set for me and josh. You don't even have to remove the stock mount to install it. I guess the guys that have rtr boats aren't really savvy enough to glue a carbon fiber plate in their hull. O well, I thought I'd be helping these guys out. I know I've grown tired of the motor mount moving on me and melting the Teflon.
