In other news. I opened up the poseidon motors. Everything looks great. Bearings are tight, rotors look new. I have hammered on these things. Haven't had time to repaint and get back on the water. Work and the monster vorza have used all the time up. I actually put a poseidon in the 1/8 vorza. Car is a beast. As of now, at this price point, skip the leopards all together.

An insurance company paid off the man's $50,000 car loan after he reported his 2005 Cadillac stolen from the vicinity of the Five Points Mall in Oshawa in July 2007. Cops acting on information received this summer conducted a further investigation and found the vehicle in storage in Courtice. Dallas Richard Duguay, 31, of Cousins Street in Clarington, is charged with fraud over $5,000, public mischief and perjury."

Funny, the two forums I read daily just crossed paths

        This thread needs some pruning.

Wow what a great boat. I have not been in the RC boat world long but this boat is by far the best performing boat out of the box. First run was 56mph with a best of 59.8 mph (so close ). Now for shts and giggles I'm going to sharpen the rudder, and raise the struts to 3mm and try to get over the 60 Mark. I know the smc 9000's are probably slowing me down a mph or 2 but my other packs are only 30c packs and I don't think they will put out enough.

I do NOT recommend moving the struts up into positive AT ALL in stock form. The 9000 mah packs are in my opinion keeping you planted at neutral strut angle. Im sure someone else will back me up about going positive.

Sorry your right the boat was upside-down when I went up.lol so ya I went down to 3mm. I did a 2 creep 5500 30c packs and it was smoth across the water and did 54.6 I think it was. Tomorrow the 9000 go back in for round 2.
Now I want to play with some timing. I need some help with this what side to it plug the signal side in to, I see 3 pins but nothing says what side is what so I haven't plugged it in yet.

another question...by keeping the batteries in line down the center, opposed to 4 in front side by side, help keep it down on the water more? (I have a small air damn)

Stock timing was 10* in the original AquaCraft EDC. I have run that motor at 15* with a different ESC with great success.

The important thing is where the CG is located. My testing and that of some others show that the vertical placement is usually not critical, in fact in some cases a cat can be more stable with the packs on the tunnel. Where is the CG of your LucasOil?

My stock timing was already at 7.5 and went to 15 and picked up 2 tenths with the heavy 9000's I'm going back out soon to running some 5500's, we'll see if I pick up any speed with the lighter packs.

Pushin it with 15* timing be carefull. Bump sand the 2 rear ride pads with some 320ish sand paper, will see another gain.
