All I'm doing is thinking on the packed air thing and keeping the boat down. Could you vent it somehow with a tube / space (etc etc) through the hull? That might bleed off excess air at speed. Or dare I say it.... some type of airfoil designed to exert a little downforce only at speed.

I noticed grease oozing between my struts & the transom. Also the mounting bolts always need a 1/2 turn or so after running, which tells me they are pulling thru. I intend to add some plates like Erroneous did, but until then I added some support blocks between the strut mount and the transom overhang. oozing grease" thing also, but every other run I snog things down, and hasn't been a problem. I even ran up on a back end of a boat that just died in front of me, went air-born twice at over 60, and still hull is crackles. don't over tighten, just snog it and do it offen.Zelos 36 stock 68 mphComment

I got them installed and bench tested them. They are pretty smooth. I should get her in the water this weekendComment
